Sorry it’s been so long. I’ve been busy.
But, the company that has my contracted interest (I’m a contractor) has announced to the full-time employees (FTE) that there’s furloughs coming this week. And, they’re also going to cut back on temporary and contract workers. Like me.
This may be a crappy place to discuss this, but is anyone else anxious about their jobs? Yes, a bunch of you have probably already been laid off or furloughed. It’s just that my company is doing things for fighting this pandemic. However, it doesn’t mean that the COVID bump makes up for the lack of other income.
Anyone else feeling anxious/ Feel free to rant, sympathize, empathize, support, or provide any other appropriate supportive emotion here.
