First of all — this whole drill concept is nonsense. It makes no more sense to have these drills than it did for me as a child to jump under my desk or go to an interior hallway if a nuclear weapon was going to hit Dallas Texas. Everything would be vaporized. The atomic bombs used against Japan were firecrackers compared to the hydrogen bombs we have now.
So what is going on? We have rescue teams running around.
If they were labeled for hurricane relief — great. That make sense. But where is the political gain??? So instead it’s the FBI, and they are running nuclear drills. Why?

Note how the author works in President Biden as causing that fear so you'll know how to vote. I would have been so disappointed had President Biden NOT been mentioned. I would have thought DE journalism had missed an opportunity.
I do not think it is obvious until you start watching for this BS...but every little push helps. Squeeze that big steaming load of excrement out.

Then to push that concept let us find a quote, hell any quote, to use as if some crank from a news source they'd never quote or use is now a national authority.
The conservative leaning Dallas Express is quoting the world socialist website????

I see this inclusion like quoting Fred Phelps of Westboro as representing all Christians, or when someone source wanted to gen up bigotry, they’d find a quote from some Imam in the middle of no where with a madrassa of 3 people who has declared a fatwah against President Bush or President Obama. Since those fatwahs were never carried out, what we did get was the planting of suspicion, fear and hatred of Muslims for some idiot’s squawking.
But more important, you need US to protect YOU from THEM! So Iraq/Afghanistan — how did that work out? Big win for the USA right?

Being a citizen is voting for who will serve the most Americans and do the country the most good.

Maybe I can help you see that listening to these fools and their subtle but stinky messages can at least give you an iota of doubt. Then decide on what an article you read is really saying.
And don’t think we for a second that this only applies to a specific group — left/right conservative/liberal, whatever. Take the time to call them out. ‘We are mad as hell and we are not going to take it any more!!!!’ But I am not tossing my PC out the window. I need it for my next entry…. :P
