I'm confident about Harris, but I'm also anxious that Trump will still win.

Okay. I think it’s time I posted something on here. I’m a 41-year old with Asperger’s living in Boise and I’m truly terrified about the possible results of the election. The polls show that the race is closer than it was recently, but I also don’t know how accurate they are. I remember two years ago that polls predicted a red tsunami in the 2022 midterms, but it ended up being a red puddle. I’m hopeful it will happen again, but I’m also concerned it may not. Especially as it shows that Trump is doing better among minorities than last time. In addition, many Muslim and Arab Americans are still pissed about Biden’s mishandling of the war in Gaza and don’t think Harris will be any better and some of them are willing to tank for Trump, even though they know the risks. Also, even if Harris does win, we know Trump will not accept the results and will either hope for the Supreme Court to give him the election(like they did for George W. Bush in 2000) or disqualify enough electors to force a contingent election, which would give Trump the win and if those all fail, have his followers attack the Captiol again and, learning from last time, actually succeed.

Please give me some hope that the Republicans will not take back control of the entire Federal Government. Freedom is literally on the line in November and I hope we won’t have to arm ourselves to fight back.
